After registering for Ruul as a talent, you need to complete the following steps to be fully onboarded:
1. Complete your ID verification steps
2. Authorize Ruul as your digital service reseller
3. Provide your banking information
For each currency, there is a minimum invoicing amount of 100 EUR or equivalent. However, there are no limits on how high you can go. You can give our pricing calculator a try with different amounts and currencies to see the limits for your use case.
You can use Ruul’s invoicing feature as long as you are providing a digital service. Excluding services where physical goods (e.g. eCommerce, dropshipping) or a physical presence (e.g. auto repair, home cleaning) you may use Ruul to invoice your clients.To give you a clear idea, here’s a list of some of the services that you can use Ruul for:

In order to start using any of our features, you need to complete the onboarding process on your dashboard by:
1. Getting your ID verified
2. Authorizing Ruul as your service reseller
3. Providing your banking informationAfter that, click on the "New Invoice" button under the Invoices tab, pick your client, fill in the invoice and project details, and issue it when you are ready.
Ruul becomes your “digital service reseller”, authorized by you to invoice your client and collect payment from them to realize your pay-out in your preferred currency.
The invoice only contains the seller’s (Ruul) and the buyer’s (your client) commercial information, in addition to the service description, project specifications and the invoiced sum.
Your client can pay the invoice tied to your service after going through a simple verification process without registering. However, signing up for Ruul is highly recommended for a seamless payment and talent management experience.
Your client is required to have a company name, company address, and a valid VAT (EU)/Tax ID. Through our Know Your Business (KYB) process, we verify your client’s information as well. Please note that VAT might apply to your invoice in the absence of a valid tax ID.
Ruul’s invoices are universally accepted and they can easily be integrated into the accounting procedures of businesses for a tax deduction in compliance with local regulations.
Not necessarily. Ruul is built to set independent professionals free from the burdens of archaic, traditional work arrangements. You can continue doing solo work independently and use our invoicing and payment features to get more organized in your solo business. However, you can only invoice corporate clients. Please note that the local labor and tax regulations may impose varying requirements and limitations.
We have a transparent pricing policy to ensure that what you see is what you get. You can <a href="https://ruul.io/pricing">find out the applicable commission rate</a> using our calculator before you issue any invoices. However, note that in some cases where we need to use the SWIFT network, there may be additional fees charged by either the intermediary banks or your banking service provider.
Ruul provides a location-independent freelance invoicing service, meaning you can invoice your clients located anywhere from anywhere in the world as long as they have a valid tax ID. The absence of a tax ID may result in additional taxes mandated by the tax laws and regulations of the country of residence.
Unfortunately, you cannot. The invoicing feature is only available for transactions to be processed through Ruul.
