Ruul provides a location-independent freelance invoicing service, meaning you can invoice your clients located anywhere from anywhere in the world as long as they have a valid tax ID. The absence of a tax ID may result in additional taxes mandated by the tax laws and regulations of the country of residence.
Not at all. On the contrary, Ruul's invoicing system is built to set talents free from the responsibilities related to incorporation. You can continue doing solo work independently and use our invoicing and payment features. However, you can only invoice corporate clients.
You can invoice your clients in the following currencies: AUD, CAD, CHF, CZK, DKK, EUR, GBP, HKD, HUF, JPY, NOK, PLN, RUB, SEK, TRY, and USD.
For each currency, there is a minimum invoicing amount of 100 EUR or equivalent. However, there are no limits on how high you can go. You can give our pricing calculator a try with different amounts and currencies to see the limits and pricing for your use case.
In order to start using any of our features, you need to complete the onboarding process on your dashboard by 3 simple steps: getting your ID verified, authorizing Ruul as your service reseller and providing your banking information. After that, click on the New Invoice button under the Invoices tab, pick your client, fill in the invoice and project details, and issue it when you are ready.
Ruul's invoices are universally accepted and they can easily be integrated into the accounting procedures of businesses for a tax deduction in compliance with local regulations.
You can use Ruul’s invoicing feature as long as you are providing a digital freelance service. Excluding the sales of physical goods (e.g. eCommerce, dropshipping) or services requiring physical presence on site (e.g. auto repair, home cleaning), you may invoice your clients with Ruul. You can use Ruul's features for digital services such as; Web, Mobile & App Development, Design & Creative, Sales & Marketing, IT & Network, Consultancy, Engineering & Architecture, Writing, Translation, Admin Support, Data Science & Analytics and many more.
Your client is required to have a company name, company address, and a valid VAT (EU)/Tax ID. Through our Know Your Business (KYB) process, we verify your client's information as well. Please note that VAT might apply to your invoice in the absence of a valid tax ID.
