Get paid for your work

Ruul lets you invoice clients in 190 countries and get paid, even if you don’t have a company of your own. Ruul is the legal counterparty for the transaction, so it issues its own compliant invoice to your client, collects the payment, and releases your payout within 1 business day.

From sign-up to your first payment

1. Create your account. Sign up with your email or with Google, then confirm your address from the verification email. See how to create an account.

2. Verify your identity. A one-time KYC check: you upload an ID document and take a quick selfie. Results usually arrive within 10-15 minutes. See identity verification (KYC).

3. Add a payment account. This is where your money lands: a bank account, MiniPay, or Binance. You can add it while creating your first invoice, or set it up in advance from Payment Accounts in your dashboard. See how to add and manage your payment method.

4. Add your first customer. You’ll need their name, email, and company details. You can also add them while creating the invoice. See how to add and manage customers.

5. Send your first invoice. Describe the work, set the amount and currency, and choose who pays Ruul’s commission: you or your customer. Preview it, then send. Your customer receives a secure payment link by email and doesn’t need a Ruul account to pay. See how to create an invoice.

Invoicing the same client again

Not every engagement is a one-off. There are three ways to invoice a client, all covered in invoicing your clients:

• A single invoice for one payment.
• A scheduled invoice, which Ruul generates on a date you choose each month. Your customer still pays each one manually.
• A subscription, where your customer approves once and their card is charged automatically every period. See subscriptions or the subscription invoicing page.

After you’re paid
