Updated June 23, 2026

Ruul lets you invoice clients and get paid anywhere in the world — without needing a registered company. Here’s how to go from sign-up to your first payment in five steps.

Step 1: Create your account

Go to ruul.io and create a freelancer account with your email, or sign up with Google. You’ll receive a verification email — click the link to confirm your address.

Step 2: Verify your identity (KYC)

Before you can receive payments, Ruul needs to confirm your identity. This is a standard one-time check — you’ll upload an ID document and take a quick selfie. It usually takes 10–15 minutes.

You’ll be prompted to do this when you add your first payout account.

Step 3: Add a payout account

Choose how you want to receive your money — a bank account, MiniPay, Binance, or Cenoa. This is where Ruul sends your payment after your client pays.

You can add a payout account while creating your first invoice, or set it up in advance from Payment Accounts in your dashboard.

Step 4: Add your first client

Add the client you want to invoice under Customers in your dashboard, or directly when creating an invoice. You’ll need their name, email, and company details.

Step 5: Send your first invoice

Go to Invoices → New Invoice. Select your client, describe the work, set the amount and currency, and choose who pays Ruul’s 5% commission — you or your client. Preview the totals, then send.

Your client receives a secure payment link by email. Once they pay, Ruul releases your payout — usually within one business day.
