Before you send an invoice, it helps to know a few ground rules around amounts, currencies, and how to write the description. Sticking to these avoids delays and keeps your invoices compliant.
Invoice Amount
Each invoice has a minimum of €100 and a maximum of €100,000 (or the equivalent in your chosen currency).
If you need to create an invoice below or above these limits, contact Ruul’s customer success team and they can help.
Currency

If a payment option is not available for the selected currency, a warning box will appear while creating the invoice. You can adjust the invoice currency accordingly.

Description
Some limitations apply to the invoice description. Please note the following when creating a new invoice:
- Restricted Services
Services involving physical assets, expenses, salary payments, royalties, or product sales can’t be invoiced via Ruul. Only digital services are accepted.
-
Description Content Don’t include the talent’s or company’s name, the date, or any amount calculations in the description.
-
Language Requirement The description must be in English. Additional languages can be added in parentheses alongside the English version.
Turkish companies are exempt from this rule. For invoices issued to companies registered in Türkiye, the description must be in Turkish, with additional languages optionally included in parentheses alongside the Turkish version.
If the invoice description does not meet these requirements, our compliance team may cancel the invoice and request it be recreated.
